Feature:
-
PCD & CBN have super high hardness. Carbide: HV2100, PCD:
HV10000; CBN: HV8000;
-
High wear resistance, and shock resistance, frictioin
coefficient PCD & CBN: 0.1--0.3;
-
Good cutting stability at high temperature (PCD>800ºC; CBN>1500ºC);
-
Good thermal conductivity. PCD: 2100; CBN: 1300; Carbide:
121 (w/m.k);
-
Stable size: Thermal expansion coefficient: PCD:3.1, CBN:
4.7, carbide: 5.2 (X10‾6k);
-
All inserts are manufactured using our Know-How brazing
technique. The brazing process keeps virtually any heat from
contacting the tip of the PCD or CBN Inserts, and assures a
stronger braze and highest quality edges in conjunction with
our advanced grinding technology.
Application:
-
PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) is used for non-ferrous alloy
with high abrasion resistance & FRP finishing machining.
Optimal Results are achieved when using PCD to machine
silicon aluminum, graphite, composites, metal matrix, fiber
reinforced composites and plastics;
-
CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) is ideally suited for machining
class 30 cast iron, powder metals, chilled irons, and hard
steels HRC45 or higher, as well as gray cast iron finishing
cut;
-
PCD/CBN inserts can be made sharp edge, or chamfer edge
(0.004 x 20).
-
All inserts can have wiper on corners as customer requests.
-
Most inserts can have two or more tips.
How To Order ......
When you order, please specify the following specification:
-
Insert Style/Shape, Cutting Direction, Tip Material or
Workpiece Material to be machined, Tip Length, Corner
Radius, Wiper, etc.
